The gulls have great contrast against the blue sky, but what is the blur in the picture?

Hello, the picture is taken from the same spot as this one. It was hard to avoid the “blury things”, because I were in a small balcony, and these are a few branches from a tree which is placed right between me and the seagulls spot. I’ll try to clear them in photo editing software, but right now I don’t have much time
